The CRO Red Nose Day Poetry CollectionWe are raising money for Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day on 16th March. We asking you to:
For every poem received, however fabulous or appalling, however long or short, in whatever style, CRO Ltd. will donate £1 on your behalf to Red Nose Day. Once all entries are received, we’ll choose our two favourites, one from each category, and donate a further £5 on behalf of each poet. All poems will be published on a special page on our website. Category 1 Your poem must be from 2-30 lines long and include the line: “Today must be my lucky day” You don’t have to use it as the first line: it can appear anywhere, and it can be broken up over two lines if you like. Category 2 Your poem must be 2-30 lines long and use at least three of the following FAVOURITE WORDS, chosen by the CRO team.
We think you can use the words any way you like - you could say 'tittered' or 'monkeys' and that would still count. Any subject matter is welcome, and the more wit and wisdom, the better. But please folks – keep it clean! Out-of-category entries If you've got a great poem lying around that you think should be seen and read, send it anyway! How to enter: First, write your poem! It can be as short as two lines long. Please click here to e-mail your poem. Remember to include your name and contact details. Then click here to donate some money to Red Nose Day. We’ve only set a limit of £100 and we are sure you can help us do better than that! THANK YOU FOR YOUR CREATIVE JUICES - AND YOUR CASH |
